Jordan: Amman in my eyes.

Body

I'll be stating here various thoughts I had during my last trip to Amman.

Amman is cool, Or I liked it. Maybe because I hate Egypt, Maybe because of personal reasons. Maybe because it's really cool. I can't tell. The weather is fine, Yes it's sunny like Egypt but without humidity. It's very good in the night.

The problem is that Amman sleep early, And for a bat like me, This is not OK for sure ;)
Usually the traffic is isn't jammed. But on a Thursday noon it'll be.

Amman is VERY expensive. This might be because of the Iraqi people paying for things more than they should.

I guess you won't feel that you are in another country if you ignore the accent.

THey are building bridges and digging tunnels to get rid of the traffic signs "esharat el moroor - what do u call it in English ?".

You mus eat shawerma from reem and drink Irish coffee.

All the people I met were cool.

They - or most of them - have a Mercedes, Only the model differs ;-)

You can easely hit Egyptians there.

Guess what ? Taxis are very nice, The cars are good.

Drivers don't keep pouring shit into your ears and head like here.

You don't have to fight with the drivers, Just pay what the counter has recorded.

Get an UMNIAH GSM line, prepaid. It's fine. It costs 3JDs and precharged with 1. You pay be second and you can access the internet via GPRS. Just create a GPRS connection with the default values and that's it.

Airport ? You'll pay about 14JDs for a taxi, Go to the city terminal in the 7th square, Check-in from there, Take a bus for 2JDs.

Boox@caffee. You can find wifi there, Also in Donuts factory. You'll find wifi in the airport too.

Jordanian citizens aren't service oriented, That's why it's unlikely to find them in service providing fields, You won't find them also in Agricultural jobs because the payments are not good, You can find Egyptians doing these jobs.
